Things to do

There's plenty to do on a Forest Holiday, from forest trails to explore, children's playgrounds and bike hire to archery, canoeing and rock climbing.

Some ideas for your Forest Holiday

Each of our Cabin sites has plenty of walking and cycle trails, ranging from one to ten miles and from varied forest terrain to pushchair friendly paths, so put your boots on, leave the car behind and discover the best way to explore the area, rain or shine!

If you want to get out and about on a bike but don't want the hassle of transporting yours, why not hire one from us? We have adult and children's bikes, child seats, tag a longs and even the odd tandam or two if you fancy something a little different! All bike hire includes a cycle helmet. Our bike hire is popular, so book yours in advance by calling 0845 130 8223 to ensure you don't miss out.

Each site has a play area to help your children burn off some of that energy. That is, if they have any left after exploring the forest all day! Details vary by site but wooden swings, slides, climbing frames and more await.

Become a modern day Robin Hood and learn how to shoot a bow and arrow in the forest. Have a go at archery with the help of our expert insrtuctor - great fun for children and adults alike.

Take advantage of our waterside locations and try your hand at canoeing. Under the tuition of our expert you will soon be paddling a canoe around the loch or down the nearby river. Great as a beginner or refresher course or if you simply want to experience a well loved hobby in a different location. All equipment supplied.
