Do I need to provide bedding?
No, all Forest Holiday Cabins come complete with freshly laundered sheets, pillows and duvets. Please bring bedding for a cot if you are using one.
Do I need to provide towels?
If you are staying in a Golden Oak Cabin, towels will be provided. If you are staying in a different type of accommodation, please bring your own towels, or you can hire them from us to save any hassle.
What will be in my kitchen?
All Cabin kitchens come complete with dishwasher, oven, fridge, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster as a minimum. We also supply crockery, cutlery, glasses saucepans and cooking utensils.
You will need to supply your own washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc, but don’t worry if you forget as these can be purchased on site.
Will there be a BBQ?
All our log Cabins come with a BBQ rack to put a disposable BBQ on. These can be bought on site and we can also provide you with a great selection of delicious food to cook on your BBQ.
Will there be somewhere I can store my bike?
Every Cabin comes with a bike rack, but please bring your own bike locks. To avoid the hassle of transporting your own bikes, we have bikes of all shapes and sizes, including tag-a-longs for children and safety equipment on-site for hire.
Will it be dark at night?
Erm, yes. That may sound like a daft question, but at Forest Holidays we avoid light pollution by keeping night time light levels as low as possible, so when we say dark, we mean DARK. We therefore advise that guests bring a torch with them.
Do you provide cots and highchairs?
We have a number of travel cots and highchairs available to hire – please reserve these when you book your Cabin.
