Forest Rangers

Explore the real forest

At Forest Holidays we have our very own, specially trained Forest Rangers to make your stay extraordinary! The Rangers are our ambassadors of the forest and its creatures – from the real to the mythical. Let them share with you their passion for the natural world as well as their knowledge and insight. Make your holiday break unique by booking a number of activities!

Forest Ranger Experiences for youngsters and adults

Ever seen nocturnal creatures with night vision equipment or perhaps used a sonic bat detector? Now is your chance! Designed for all members of your group – and not just the children – the range of Forest Ranger activities can be enjoyed by all. From teaching you forest survival and woodland skills, to educating you more about forest creatures, flora and fungi or about fairies and folklore around the campfire.

Your Ranger experience will re-awaken your awareness of the natural environment and re-instil in you that childhood sense of discovery.

Especially for younger family members, our Rangers have built ‘Junior Ranger’ programmes to make exploring the forest a fascinating adventure. From treasure hunts and bug hunts, to woodland crafts and wand making – the youngsters will be captivated.

Book early! As activities are highly popular we recommend booking before you travel whenever possible. Please log into 'My Account' or speak with our Holiday Advisors.
