New Forest
Wild deer still graze beneath the mighty oaks
and beech trees of the New Forest, part of the largest area of
ancient forest in Britain.
Rich in flora and fauna, tradition and
history, the beautiful landscape of the New Forest has been a place
of recreation since it was chosen as a special hunting ground by
William the Conqueror. All of the sites are steeped in
the fascinating history of the New Forest where the traditional
life of the Forest’s Commoners continues today as they exercise
their centuries-old right to graze their livestock on the common
ground.
We have ten camping & caravanning sites within the New
Forest. Holmsley , Ashurst and
Hollands
Wood provide the facilities you need for a family
holiday. Roundhill and Ocknell offer
excellent value for money, while Denny Wood,
Matley
Wood, Longbeech and Aldridge Hill
provide the essentials to allow the caravanner freedom to enjoy the
forest. Setthorns is open all year
round.
