What is Forest Holidays?
Forest Holidays owns and operates five Cabin sites and 21 Caravan and Camping sites in England, Scotland and Wales.

The company operates entirely within the Forestry Commission estate, and has a 75 year lease on the land on which the sites are based.

What does Forest Holidays do?
Forest Holidays provides Cabin, Caravan and Camping holidays in stunning locations.

Where are Forest Holidays Caravan and Camping Sites?
Forest Holidays Caravan and Camping Sites are located in England, Wales and Scotland.

In England we have 10 sites in the New Forest, three in the Forest of Dean, Spiers House in North Yorkshire, Postern Hill in Wiltshire and Thorpe in Norfolk.

In Scotland there is Ardgartan in Dunbartonshire, Glenmore in Inverness-shire, Cashel in Rowardennan and Cobleland in Stirlingshire.

What is there to do on a Forest Holiday?
Forest Holidays are focussed around using the forest its self for entertainment, rather than more commercialised activities. On a Forest Holiday you can explore the miles of paths and cycle trails in the forest, join a Forest Ranger on an activity and learn more about the natural environment you are holidaying in or take part in an active adventure such as pony trekking or sailing in the local area.

What will I find on site?
The Facilities at our Caravan and Camping sites vary by site. Many have full facilities including a shop, baby changing facilities, toilets, showers, disabled facilities and more, whilst others are completely natural without even the option of an electric hook-up.

Check on our site pages to see what’s available where you want to stay.

Can I bring my dogs?
Dogs are welcome on all our Caravan and Camping Sites except for Denny Wood and Ashurst. We welcome up to three well behaved dogs per unit and charge a small fee of £1 per dog per night.  Dogs should be kept under control on a lead at all times whilst on site and must be cleared up after.

What is there to do for children?
At Forest Holidays we encourage children to be children and provide plenty for them to see and do. The forest is one giant garden for kids – they can play, run, hide and cycle to their heart’s content.

Our Ranger activities are also great for the kids (and adults too) as they can have fun and learn about the plants and animals in the forest at the same time.

What are Forest Holidays Cabin breaks?
Alongside Forest Holidays Caravan and Camping breaks, we also offer Cabin breaks at five locations: two in North Yorkshire, one in Cornwall and two in Scotland.

As with our Caravan and Camping holidays, our Cabin breaks focus around having fun in the forest and we offer four different grades of Cabin to suit every taste and budget.
