Connecting with nature

An unwavering focus on the sustainability and enrichment of our forests

Connecting people with nature is at the heart of our business ethos and we therefore understand it is our responsibility to help care for Britain’s forests, support wildlife to ensure it thrives, and take action to protect and enhance the environment now and for the future.

Forest Holidays has been providing cabin holidays in Britain’s forests for 45 years, in a successful long-term partnership with the Forestry Commission. Today, Forest Holidays locations are all in forests that are managed by Forestry England, Forestry and Land Scotland and Natural Resources Wales on behalf of the nation. 50% of our locations are also within four National Parks - two in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park; two in the North York Moors National Park; one in Snowdonia National Park and one being developed in the Brecon Beacons. Core to our success has been our respect for the natural environment and contribution towards supporting the Public Forest Estate. Above and beyond our formal obligations, we have an unwavering focus on the sustainability and enrichment of our forests.

Caring for Britain's forests

Supporting wildlife

Britain's forests are rich ecosystems and our aim is to help protect and increase native biodiversity through active intervention.

Protecting the environment

Our aim is to provide eco-friendly holidays, in harmony with our forest environment and sustaining it for the future.
