A short distance along the coast will bring you to another seaside favourite, Whitby. Home to the beautiful ruins of Whitby Abbey and known for its fantastic fish and chips – the town has layers of quaint streets to wander with small, independent craft shops and a large section of dog-friendly beach if you’re travelling with the dog.
