Tegg’s Nose Country Park is one of the best places to soak up panoramic views of the Cheshire Plain which stretches out into the Welsh mountains. This local secret is situated on the western edge of the Peak District National Park and offers a glimpse of British countryside at its most beautiful. Our tip? Go walking in the summer and sledging in the winter when snow covers the hilltops. Ideal if you’re looking for free things to do in Cheshire.

7. Go diving with sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium

When rainy days strike hop in the car to Blue Planet Aquarium just 20 minutes away from Delamere Forest.
