Walks and hikes around the forest

Exciting walks for all abilities

We have brought together a series of walks at each of our locations that start with toddler-friendly strolls and build up to long-distance hikes. They are ideal for everything from a UK family walking holiday with lots to do, to a walking holiday in Scotland, with mountains to climb.

Enjoy one of our self-led trails for a family walk through the forest, or try the suggested trails and routes on our location walking and hiking pages. Head over to our Forestipedia page too, where we have plenty of walking inspiration and ideas for your UK walking break.

And, when you have spent hours in the fresh air, walking for miles, there can be no better reward than returning to the comfort of your high-spec cabin and sinking into a warm, bubbling hot tub and soothing your aching feet and legs.
