Chase away the winter

Take an uplifting springtime break in the forest. Enjoy invigorating woodland walks as the forest awakens around you. When the slowly lengthening days drop into dusk, head back to your cabin for a cosy fireside meal; then the thrill of the hot tub in the cold night air.

The forest coming alive after winter

Witness as the forest awakens after the harsh of winter subsides. Swathes of golden daffodils bring colour to woodland glades and carpets of bluebells bring out the beauty of woodland walks. Get up and out early for a chance to see wildlife exploring the morning beauty of the forest.

If travelling with children, the Easter break is the perfect time to visit the forest with special Easter activities being held at all of our locations.

Spring has Sprung
Spring has well and truly sprung across the UK and our Forest Rangers have been telling us how it has transformed the forests around them.

When bluebells carpet the forest we know that spring is established and summer is on its way. David Read, Forest Ranger at Blackwood Forest, where the bluebells are spectacular, tells us why they are his Star Species.
