We know that your pet is part of the family and that they love exploring the great outdoors just as much as you. Pets are welcome to stay in your Brecon Beacons cabin for £15 per pet, per night.
Our location at Garwnant is situated within a Dark Skies Reserve, meaning it’s a phenomenal spot for stargazing. There’s nothing quite like looking up at the clear night sky from your bubbling hot tub. If you’re lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights!
Wake up to the amazing sound of birdsong...and not just any birdsong. The Brecon Beacons are home to rare birds like willow warblers, nightjars, bullfinches and many more.
On the Brecon Beacons stunning slopes, you’ll see loads of amazing plants found nowhere else in the world. See if you can spot an Attenborough’s Hawkweed, the first British species to be named after Sir David!
Forest Holidays Garwnant
Open glade: Cabins 1, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 are in a unique spot, high in an open glade.
Please note: Cabins 4, 11 and 14 are unsuitable for those who are unsteady on their feet. Cabins with more than 4 steps are marked on the map, all other cabins have a maximum of 4 steps.
Barrier: Please note there’s a barrier to get to the cabins. You’ll be given access based on the vehicle registration on your pre-arrival registration.
Garwnant Visitor Centre is just under a mile away from our cabins and is open everyday from 8:30am - 5pm (8pm on Mondays and Fridays). The Forest Café is open from 8:30am - 5pm (7:30pm during the summer months). Our in-cabin deliveries run until 7:30pm.

With your cosy cabin as a base, you can explore as far as you like. There’s plenty going on nearby to keep everyone entertained. Discover nature trails, water sport reservoirs, foodie festivals and much more.
Garwnant Visitor Centre is just under a mile away. It’s a handy shop, café, bar and activity centre. You can also meet the Forest Ranger, book activities, and hire bikes here. Look out for the children’s play area too.
There are hundreds of ways to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park. There really is something for everyone here. Whether you want to explore more of the area, spend time in nature, take little ones on a woodland walk or enjoying an action filled adventure.
