Pet-friendly attractions near to our locations
There are plenty of dog-friendly holiday activities near to our locations, from forest trails to museums and even a jail! Inveraray Jail near to Ardgartan Argyll welcomes dogs, and they are welcome too in the bar and garden at our Strathyre local, The Lade Inn. In North Yorkshire, the Ryedale Folk Museum, a short drive from Cropton and Keldy, is dog-friendly and, at Sherwood Forest, you can take the dog to Hardwick Old Hall, an English Heritage property.
How about a trip on a steam train? Dogs are welcome at Dean Forest Railway in the Forest of Dean or the Bure Valley Railway in Norfolk, near Thorpe Forest, where they even have their own resident dog. In Hampshire, near Blackwood Forest, the South Downs offer miles of beautiful walks for you and your dog. At the Eden Project near Deerpark in Cornwall, dogs can enjoy the outdoor trails.
