Charmaine Povey

General Manager at Thorpe Forest

Charmaine plays a key role at Thorpe Forest, supporting her team and assisting guests throughout their stay. Her favourite cabin is No. 38, loved for its spacious layout and stunning open woodland views from the hot tub. In her spare time, Charmaine enjoys exploring the walking trails of Thetford Forest and spending time with her family at Banham Zoo.

    Natalie Trueman

    Retreat Manager

    Natalie leads the team at the Forest Retreat, overseeing Food and Beverage and Guest Services to ensure every guest feels welcome and cared for. Surrounded by the peace of nature each day, Natalie especially enjoys the interactive trails at High Lodge. For a great roast dinner, Natalie recommeds The White Horse in South Lopham, and loves joining the Forest Ranger for nocturnal walks to spot wildlife. Natalie's favourite British animal is the loyal Border Terrier.

    "The barking you sometimes hear might not be dogs at all, it could be the Muntjac deer."

    Forest Ranger

    Olivia spends her days in the heart of the forest, caring for the environment and helping Thorpe Forest thrive as a Trash Free Trails hub. She loves connecting with nature and guests, embracing the motto: "Doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness.". At Thorpe, she treasures a secret spot on her Guided Woodland Walk, her personal haven. She believes Forest Holidays offers the perfect balance of tranquility and activities for every guest.

    What is your favourite thing to do when it's raining?

    "On rainy days, Olivia enjoys walking under the trees, soaking up the incredible woodland scents, or sheltering in dens scattered across the forest."
