Upon arrival/departure: When you arrive, simply park up and head to the Forest Retreat from 4pm (unless you have pre-booked Early check-in from 2pm). When you check-in we’ll need to pre-authorise a payment card with us. Upon departure, simply head to the Forest Retreat from 10am (unless you have pre-booked Late check-out from 12pm) and hand in your keys or drop them off in the outside box.

Access and terrain: At Ardgartan Argyll the terrain is flat and level with ramps to access your cabin. Our wheelchair-adapted Silver Birch is located within easy access to the Forest Retreat.

Parking: Each cabin at Ardgartan Argyll has 2 allocated parking spaces, directly outside the cabin or along a pathway. Additional cars can be registered with the team and parked at the Forest Retreat just a short walk from your cabin free of charge. 

Shopping and food options: The Forest Retreat at Ardgartan Argyll offers all-day dining from 9am every day, with breakfast, brunch, small plates and British classics to choose from, as well as coffee, wines and cocktails. There’s also a small shop with the essentials for your stay, plus treats, gifts and little extras to take back to your cabin. If you’d prefer a takeaway, you can order from our in-cabin menu, with delivery to your door every day until last orders at 7pm.

Local amentities: The closest supermarkets to Ardgartan Argyll are Waitrose (22.6 miles) and Co-Operative Food (19.9 miles). You can arrange a supermarket delivery during your stay, but we ask that you meet the driver on their arrival to accept your delivery.
