Welsh Highland Railway

One of the most wonderful aspects of Snowdonia National Park holidays is the Welsh Highland Railway line which wends its way through the area. Every so often you will hear a tell-tale whistle and catch glimpses of a vintage train leaving a cloud of steam in its wake. Beddgelert has its own station, Meillionen, which connects to the two coastal towns of Caernarvon and Porthmadog, as well as Beddgelert town.
