Upon arrival/departure: When you arrive, simply park up and one person per cabin will be required to check-in, simply follow the social distancing markers to the Forest Retreat. Queuing systems may be implemented and whilst we will try to make the process as quick as possible, check-in may take a little longer than usual.

Access and terrain: At Keldy, the terrain is mostly flat and level with some steep terrain. Our wheelchair-adapted Silver Birch cabin is situated on flat and level terrain with a ramp to access the cabin.

Parking: Most cabins at Keldy have 2 allocated parking spaces, except for a handful of cabins which have 1 parking space. Parking spaces range from directly outside the cabin, across the road from your cabin, or a short walk away. Additional cars can be registered with the team and parked at the Forest Retreat free of charge.

Shopping and food options: The Forest Retreat at Keldy offers all-day dining from 9am every day, with breakfast, brunch, small plates and British classics to choose from, as well as coffee, wines and cocktails. There’s also a small shop next door with the essentials for your stay, plus treats, gifts and little extras to take back to your cabin. If you’d prefer a takeaway, you can order from our in-cabin menu, with delivery to your door every day until 7pm.

Forest Retreat open every day from 9am – 8pm.

Shop open 8.30am – 5.30pm every day.

Local amentities: The closest supermarkets to Keldy are Co-Operative Food (6.5 miles), Lidl (6.4 miles), Morrisons (14.7 miles), and Asda (14.8 miles). You can arrange a supermarket delivery during your stay, but we ask that you meet the driver on their arrival to accept your delivery.

Nearby train stations: The closest train station to Keldy is Malton (14.8 miles) and Thirsk (29.7). Please note, our locations require a journey by car, taxi, bus etc.
