What to bring

What to pack

All our cabins are equipped with the essentials, which should help to make your packing easier.

We've put together a list of the extras you might want to bring to make the most of your holiday:
  • Clothing (suitable for a woodland environment)
  • Walking shoes/boots/wellies
  • Toiletries
  • Food you'll want for your stay (and if you forget anything, you'll find essentials in the Forest Retreat)
  • Camera (the best way to take home memories of your holiday)
  • Charging cables (for mobiles, sat navs, tablets, or games console)
  • Swimwear (for the hot tub)
  • Torch (essential as we keep lighting to a minimum at night)
  • Kitchenware (bring essentials like foil, cling film and kitchen roll)
Bath and hand towels are included in all cabins, but you could pack extra. You'll find hot tub towels in our Golden Oak cabin, along with robes in the master bedrooms. For other cabins, you can pre-book towels and robes through my account.
Packing list
Don't forget

There might be a few extras you'll want to throw in, depending on the season.

Summer
A picnic rug, hamper, and ice-block to keep your lunch fresh is essential. You may also choose to bring insect repellent for when you’re taking a forest walk and sun cream for when you’re relaxing on a forest glade!

Winter
Layering: lots of layers, gloves, and a hat are perfect for a forest walk or bike ride. Just make sure your gloves and boots aren't too tight and try not to wear too many pairs of socks as restricting blood flow to your hands and feet will make it even harder to get them warm.

Wool is a great choice. When cotton gets wet it loses its insulating qualities, so we'd suggest you opt for wool or synthetic materials to keep warm.
