What's on location at Deerpark Our Deerpark location offers 45 luxury cabins set on the winding side of the valley and around a quiet millpond, deep in the forest. You are offered a choice of cabins from the Silver Birch to the Golden Oak and one quirky but wonderful Golden Oak Treehouse. At the heart of the location is the Forest Hub, where you’ll find the eatery and a bar, a store, the children’s play area and a laundry room. The Forest Hub At the heart of things The Forest Hub is the heart of our Deerpark location; and it’s where you’ll find our friendly team, ready to help you get the most out of your Forest Holiday. The Forest Hub also has a well-stocked store selling essential groceries, holiday luxuries and souvenirs, many of which are hand-made or locally sourced. Forest Ranger activities Meet your Forest Ranger Martin Summers is our main Deerpark Forest Ranger and he has been a naturalist for over 50 years, specialising in botany, geology, pond & marine life, butterflies, bats and moths. Martin has a passion for all things outdoor which is contagious, and he will make sure you have great fun learning about the forest life around you. Our very own Forest Ranger will uncover the secrets of the forest for you, and our operational team will ensure the smooth running of every aspect of your holiday. Stuart Moir is General Manager at Deerpark. He has many years’ experience in the hospitality industry in hotels, and as a regional manager in both business catering contracts and National Trust Restaurants and tea rooms.
