Nikki loves showing people the local area and wildlife, educating and inspiring them to enjoy the benefits of being outside in all weather. She hopes that her own work with local conservation groups, watchful eye on the forest, and inspirational guest activities – from bug hunts to basic forest first aid – will help the younger generation to continue to support and keep our forests alive.
Making people smile! Being part of a conservation team ensures forests are still going to be here for our generation’s future. I enjoy the connection with nature and its changing seasons.
For Little Wild Ones I enjoy building imagination with children, as life is magical at that age. Seeing guests light a fire for the first time on Forest Survival makes them so happy!
During Nature by Night, seeing all the fun guys (pun intended) light up is magical! At night it’s another world. Biofluorescence makes the night feel alive with hidden colours and secret energy.
St Mary’s Loch – I swam a mile here recently as I love outdoor swimming. I’ve been a swimming teacher for many years. You can also paddleboard along the River Tweed.
Too many… but Glen near the ponds is magical! And my fairy land (you’ll have to join Little Wild Ones to find that!).
Outdoor adventures for the whole family
