Museums galore, including the National History Museum where you can both wander to your hearts content. Enjoy an afternoon tea at the Ritz, before strolling hand in hand down South bank, admiring The London Eye. End the day catching the sunset at Tower bridge overlooking the Thames in each other’s arms. Our Blackwood Forest location is just over an hour’s drive away, ideal for exploring the bustling city!

2. Bath

Enjoy quality time together in the beautiful, whitewashed Georgian city of Bath. You will  be captivated by the dreamy, romantic architecture and beautiful views. Get creative together at a pottery class next to the River Avon or head to the Roman baths for a relaxing dip in the steamy Thermae Spa. Visit for the day whilst staying at Forest of Dean - just an hour away. Head back to your couples cabin and enjoy a romantic evening walk through the forest, you may even catch a glimpse of a wild boar!

3. Edinburgh

If you're looking for the best holidays for older couples then Edinburgh is not to be forgotten. No trip to the hilly capital of Edinburgh is complete without exploring the historical landmark of Edinburgh Castle. 4. St Ives, Cornwall

Pack your swimwear and stroll hand in hand, on the beach and take in the beauty that is, St Ives. A small yet bustling seaside town, there are plenty of fun things to do together. If you're looking for the best beach holidays for couples, St Ives will not disappoint you. Meander your way through the quirky shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Porthminster beach boasts a colourful array of boats with a beautiful view of Godrevy lighthouse. If you have a competitive side, book a surf lesson at Shore Surf School, where you can take on the waves together. Our cabins at Deerpark are close by to St Ives, making it an ideal base. Spend the day at sea and head back to your Waterside hot tub lodge, overlooking a picturesque millpond complete with a cosy log burning stove.

5. The Peak District

The picturesque peaks are a true beauty of the north. If you are an outdoorsy couple, who crave the wilderness and keeping active, you will love the Peak District. Home to the gorgeous Chatsworth House, you can book a tour to explore over 25 rooms or wander through the picturesque gardens.

Head to Matlock for the infamous where you can reconnect with nature as well as your loved one. Tuck into a well-deserved treat (or tart) after your walk at Bakewell and explore the quaint market town filled with shops and cafes. Our cabins at Sherwood Forest are nearby to the peaks, stay with us and spend the day rambling before heading back to your secluded cabin to settle in for the night. 6. York

Close to our hot tub log cabins at Cropton and Keldy you will find the historical city of York! If you are movie lovers, wander through the Shambles, a magical, cobbled street that will make you feel as though you are in Diagon Alley. Foodie lovers must visit York’s Chocolate Story museum to discover the history and try a sample or two. Add sparkle to your evening by visiting York cathedral, it’s a delight you must both see!

7. Chester

Our cabins at Delamere Forest are a stone’s throw away from the small, Tudor style city, of Chester. Animal lovers will want to plan a date to Chester Zoo. It’s great in all weathers, with indoor and outdoor enclosures of different animals and wildlife. Hop aboard the Lady Diana and take a gentle, along the lazy River Dee soaking up the history of Chester. Pack yourselves a picnic and head to the finest Grosvenor park where you can get lost together in the beautiful park gardens.   

8. Cambridge

Near to our Thorpe Forest location is the infamous city of Cambridge. Home to the University of Cambridge boasting impressive buildings and scenery. There are plenty of places to visit to satisfy all your senses. Go punting together down The River Cam, drifting lazily past the incredible surroundings, shops, and restaurants. Gaze in wonder at Kings college chapel, a stunning medieval building with amazing gothic architecture. You may prefer to see the city in a different way, by hiring a tandem bike and explore the city by two.

9. Snowdonia, Wales

Feeling the cariad (love) in the air? Or maybe it’s the fresh Welsh air filling both your hearts! Visit the ancient Harlech Castle for for your fill of history, followed with a tasty treat from the local cafe. If you want a thrill, then you will want to spend a day at Zip World where you will zoom through the air experiencing Snowdonia in the most unique way. If you’d prefer to relax rather than hike the summit, we’d suggest snuggling up together on the Snowdon Mountain Railway for a truly romantic experience of the stunning Welsh scenery. Our cabins at Beddgelert are a convenient base for your Welsh break. You can even pre book freshly baked breads and pastries from the Bakehouse to fuel up before exploring the mountains.   

10. Glasgow

Indulge yourselves with a break to the glorious port city, Glasgow. Head to for a stroll around the displays. For the inner sports lovers, you will want to book a tour at Glasgow’s iconic landmark, Celtic Park. Get cosy and lovey-dovey at The Glasgow film theatre while watching a film together at the independent cinema. Ardgartan Argyll is just over an hour away, here you can unwind together after a day of seeing the sights. Situated next to the beautiful Loch Long, Argyll is a truly breath-taking place for a weekend escape. when staying with us and experience it together!
