The New Inn Shortstanding near Coleford

A well-kept and welcoming Forest of Dean pub, just a 1km walk from our Forest of Dean cabin location, the New Inn offers a range of beers, wines and spirits as well as a reasonably priced menu, and there is often live music too. Children are welcome and there is a beer garden for those sunny days. This is also a dog friendly Forest of Dean pub.

The Butchers Arms at Clearwell

They must be doing something right at this popular Forest of Dean pub, because it has been around for hundreds of years. A fabulous menu sets the pub apart, with a range of steaks, burger ‘stacks’ and pub classics, as well as a great choice of delicious desserts.

The Ostrich Inn at Newland, Coleford

Recommended by the Good Pub Guide, The Ostrich is situated in the pretty village of Newland. A ‘proper pub’ it has the full package, including exposed beams, a fire in the grate and range of well-kept beers.
