Upon arrival/departure: When you arrive, simply park up and head to the Forest Retreat from 4pm (unless you have pre-booked Early check-in from 2pm). When you check-in we’ll need to pre-authorise a payment card with us. Upon departure, simply head to the Forest Retreat from 10am (unless you have pre-booked Late check-out from 12pm) and hand in your keys or drop them off in the outside box.
Access and terrain: At Delamere Forest, the terrain is mostly flat and level. Our wheelchair-adapted Silver Birch cabin is situated on flat and level terrain with a ramp to access the cabin.
Parking: Each cabin at Delamere Forest has 2 allocated parking spaces, except for our Golden Oak Treehouse cabins, which has 3 allocated parking spaces. Additional cars can be registered with the team and parked at the Forest Retreat free of charge.
During your stay
Shopping and food options: The Forest Retreat at Delamere Forest has a small shop containing food and shopping essentials for your convenience, plus breakfast, lunch, and dinner options to be enjoyed in the Forest Retreat or ordered for delivery to your cabin.
Opening hours: 9am – 8pm (8.30am - 8.30pm on Mondays & Fridays)
Local amentities: The closest supermarkets to Delamere Forest are Co-Operative Food (3 miles) and Tesco Superstore (5 miles). You can arrange a supermarket delivery during your stay, but we ask that you meet the driver on their arrival to accept your delivery.
Nearby train stations: The closest train station to Delamere Forest is Delamere (2.5 miles) Please note, our locations require a journey by car, taxi, bus etc.
