Forest Holidays

Stuart Moir

General Manager at Deerpark

Looking after all things Deerpark from the team, guests, location and local community is our General Manager. Stuart’s favourite thing about working for Forest Holidays is the amazing environment he works in and being part of a brilliant team. His favourite walking area is the National Trust Respryn, near Lanhydrock house, providing a lovely riverside walk through the woods. On a rainy day he recommends visiting the popular Eden Project, where he and his family are members and visit as often as they can.

Which cabin number is your favourite and why?

“Ooh, that’s really difficult. There are several I love but I would probably go for cabin number 7, our 4 bed Golden Oak Treehouse. It has a great elevated position over the Millpond, the treehouse section is really quirky and unique offering plenty of space on the decking for extended family or friends entertaining.”
  • Nick Price

    Forest Ranger

Our Forest Ranger at Deerpark is a very elusive species that can be spotted exploring locations in the forest, out on activities and planning fun events for our guests. Nick's favourite forest walk is around the rumps on Pentire head near Polzeath for stunning views and variety of wildlife. His rarest wildlife sighting at Deerpark is a species of centipede that can been seen to produce a bioluminescent liquid (if you’re lucky).

What is your favourite thing about working at Forest Holidays?

"I am lucky enough to be outside in the forest every day, educating and inspiring others with the natural wonders of the forest."
