It's nearly time to find your Forest Feeling at Strathyre, Ben Ledi

Time to discover the beauty of the forest. Time to reconnect with loved ones. Time to explore as far as you want and time to just… be. Let the forest take the weight off, and relax. Strathyre offers 46 woodland cabins surrounded by forest, loch and mountains views. Some of our Classic cabins are nestled in a grassy forest glade, whilst others overlook the magical Loch Lubnaig. Our General Manager, Laurent Agostinelli, looks after Strathyre.

Breathing in the fresh scent, experiencing the peace and feeling the presence of the trees. Knowing there is an underground network of life sustaining everything we are privileged to see above- it`s truly magical.
Forest Ranger, Strathyre
"A beautiful, peaceful place to escape it all. The best part of our trip was spending time with Pauline, the Forest Ranger, and being able to learn from her wisdom and deep knowledge of the surrounding environment.”

FAQS

What time is check-in and check-out?

You can check-in between 4pm and 8pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is before 10am on the morning of departure. If you’re arriving any later than 8pm please call the location directly to let them know your estimated time of arrival so they can advise you where to collect your keys.

What shall I do when I arrive?

Head to the Forest Retreat to collect your keys. The Forest Retreat is your on location shop, eatery, bar and reception desk rolled into one. Pick up the essentials, and then head back to your very own cabin in the heart of the forest.

How many parking spaces does my cabin have?

Each cabin has parking for at least 2 cars. Golden Oak Treehouse cabins have 3 spaces. Please note, depending on location, not all parking spaces will be directly outside your cabin. Any additional cars can be parked at the Forest Retreat.

Are any team members on-location for emergencies?

A member of the team will always be around for emergencies at night (power issues and medical emergencies) should you require them. The Forest Retreat opening times and emergency contact numbers can be found on page 3. They are also  provided in your holiday welcome leaflet as well as on the TV in your cabin. You can find out who will be on duty and how to reach them at reception in the Forest Retreat.

What do I need to pack?

We’ve tried to think of everything you need in your cabin. Torches would be handy! Ideally one per person as you’ll be in the heart of the forest, and we try to reduce light pollution. Find out more here
