Keldy offers 57 log cabins deep in the forest, some just visable between the trees, whilst others enjoy views of a grassy, sunlit glade. Stay in a Classic cabin or discover our new collection from White Willow Premium, Golden Oak Hideaway to the 4-bed Golden Oak. Our General Manager, Julia Winterburn, looks after Keldy.

Upon arrival/departure: When you arrive, simply park up and one person per cabin will be required to check-in, simply follow the social distancing markers to the Forest Retreat. Queuing systems may be implemented and whilst we will try to make the process as quick as possible, check-in may take a little longer than usual.
Access and terrain: At Keldy, the terrain is mostly flat and level with some steep terrain. Our wheelchair-adapted Silver Birch cabin is situated on flat and level terrain with a ramp to access the cabin.
Parking: Most cabins at Keldy have 2 allocated parking spaces, except for a handful of cabins which have 1 parking space. Parking spaces range from directly outside the cabin, across the road from your cabin, or a short walk away. Additional cars can be registered with the team and parked at the Forest Retreat free of charge.
During your stay
Shopping and food options: The Forest Retreat at Keldy has a small shop containing locally sourced produce and shopping essentials for your convenience. Plus, breakfast, lunch, and dinner options to be enjoyed in the Forest Retreat or ordered for delivery to your cabin.

Shop opening hours: 8.30am – 5:30pm (8.30am - 8pm on Mondays & Fridays)Local amentities: The closest supermarkets to Keldy are Co-Operative Food (6.5 miles), Lidl (6.4 miles), Morrisons (14.7 miles), and Asda (14.8 miles). You can arrange a supermarket delivery during your stay, but we ask that you meet the driver on their arrival to accept your delivery.
Nearby train stations: The closest train station to Keldy is Malton (14.8 miles) and Thirsk (29.7). Please note, our locations require a journey by car, taxi, bus etc.

Explore Cropton Forest with our new all-terrain mobility scooters. Tramper hire prices start from £2.50 for 3 hours. Daily slots are available between 10:00am - 5:00pm.
All users must be accompanied during the session and follow the designated forest pathways.
