Discover breathtaking Scotland

Forests and rivers, mountains and lochs

Scotland, in all its wild and natural glory, is here in Argyll. Driving past tranquil lochs and majestic mountains, you’ll begin to understand why this breathtaking landscape has inspired writers and painters for centuries. Our Argyll site is situated at Ardgartan where the pine-clad mountains sweep down to meet the shore of Loch Long at the edge of the Argyll Forest Park. A more perfect spot is hard to imagine.  In May 2013 we opened a new and improved site with more cabins to choose from to meet the high demand for this popular location.

Relax and unwind or get active

Take in the breathtaking views of the loch whilst relaxing in your hot tub followed by a cosy evening in front of the log burner watching a movie. Or why not get active and hire a bike, go on a hidden glen safari or try your hand at gorge walking. The choice really is yours.

Take a trip out and spend a lazy afternoon village-hopping around the loch whilst enjoying the stunning scenery.  There are plenty of good village pubs to stop off for lunch.

Bring the forest to life

Your Forest Ranger has a wealth of useful and interesting forest information, and is on site at Argyll every day to share it with you. You can join in the Forest Ranger activities, or simply have a chat and get answers to your specific questions, learning about life in the forest from the expert. There is a full schedule of Forest Ranger activities which are fun and entertaining for both adults and children alike as well as being educational.
