Upon arrival/departure: When you arrive, simply park up and head to the Forest Retreat from 4pm (unless you have pre-booked Early check-in from 2pm). When you check-in we’ll need to pre-authorise a payment card with us. Upon departure, simply head to the Forest Retreat from 10am (unless you have pre-booked Late check-out from 12pm) and hand in your keys or drop them off in the outside box.
Access and terrain: At Ardgartan Argyll the terrain is flat and level with ramps to access your cabin. Our wheelchair-adapted Silver Birch is located within easy access to the Forest Retreat.
Parking: Each cabin at Ardgartan Argyll has 2 allocated parking spaces, directly outside the cabin or along a pathway. Additional cars can be registered with the team and parked at the Forest Retreat just a short walk from your cabin free of charge.
During your stay
Shopping and food options: The Forest Retreat at Ardgartan Argyll has a shop containing locally sourced groceries and shopping essentials for your convenience. There is also breakfast, lunch, and dinner options to be enjoyed in the Forest Retreat or ordered for delivery to your cabin.

Local amentities: The closest supermarkets to Ardgartan Argyll are Waitrose (22.6 miles) and Co-Operative Food (19.9 miles). You can arrange a supermarket delivery during your stay, but we ask that you meet the driver on their arrival to accept your delivery.
Nearby train stations: The closest train station to Ardgartan Argyll is Arrochar & Tarbet (3.7 miles) and Glasgow Central (44 miles). Please note, our locations require a journey by car, taxi, bus etc.
