1. A holiday that has everything to offer

You can have it all. Our locations are as much a part of the local area as they are a holiday destination. Days at the seaside, countryside walks, city trips, and theme parks can all be enjoyed. Cropton or Keldy, are both a short distance from the North Yorkshire coastline with the traditional seaside delights of Scarborough and the gothic intrigue of Whitby. Deerpark in Cornwall is just 7 miles from the pretty harbour towns of Looe and Polperro. Blackwood Forest is your base for Peppa Pig Land or even a day trip to London, and nowhere does English scenic beauty quite like the Wye Valley where our location at Forest of Dean is situated. Ardgartan Argyll and Strathyre in Scotland are perfect base for your summer holiday, offering dramatic history, rich in culture.

2. A sense of adventure

You can find action and adventure in the forest! Are you the all-action outdoor adventure type? Well, if that’s the case, we are all-action adventure holiday providers! You can cycle your way across forest trails, take to your kayak, swing from the trees at Go Ape or try your hand at archery on a archery holiday. Too tame? How about Gorge Walking at Ardgartan Argyll? Or 4x4 off-roading at Sherwood Forest? You can choose from a host of onsite activities some of which are provided by our experienced third party providers.

3. Find your calm

You can truly relax. The peace and tranquillity of our locations is renowned amongst our guests. Stargazing from your hot tub, a relaxing massage in your log cabin, and food ordered through your TV can all be part of the experience. An afternoon spent doing nothing but listening to the rustle of the trees and watching butterflies on the breeze will do more to relax you than any expensive spa day. There is something about being in the forest that triggers good feelings in us all. The Japanese even have a word for enjoying the restorative powers of the forest “shinrin-yoku”, which translates as forest bathing.

4. Make lasting memories

The kids will have the times of their lives - and we mean kids of all ages, including mum and dad. What really makes a Forest Holiday for children and the young at heart is our Forest Ranger activities. AJ, Forest Ranger at Keldy says his bush skills sessions are extremely popular and den building brings out the dads who can’t resist showing everybody how it’s done! The forest is a giant playground and as our children go wherever their imaginations take them, we are reminded of the freedom and adventure of our own childhoods. These simple pleasures make lasting memories.

So, book your hot tub log cabin holiday and head to the forest before the summer is over and enjoy the break the suits you. We look forward to seeing you this summertime.
