Forest Holidays
  • Georgia Podstawski

    Operations Manager

Georgia looks after the daily operations of Delamere Forest, while helping and supporting the team across all departments. Her favourite place to visit in the local area is Old Pale Hill, the peaceful walking trail boasts stunning views of seven different counties on a clear day. Georgia loves exploring the many forest trails with her two dogs Lady and Rhino, while looking out for her favourite animal in the woods: the Red Deer.

What makes Forest Holidays that bit different to your average holiday cottage?

"Being with loved ones surrounded by nature, connecting with the beautiful countryside and creating memories that will last a life time."
  • Kate Neal

    Forest Retreat Manager

Our Forest Retreat Manager Kate is there to welcome our guests on arrival and ensure they have everything they need to have a wonderful break. She also looks after the food and beverage offering, either in the restaurant or delivery to the cabins. Her favourite forest activity is going off the beaten track and discovering new trials. Kate recommends the Whitemoor Trail around Delamere Forest which passes the stunning Blakemere Moss (head there for sunset for stunning views!)

Which is your favourite cabin on location and why?

"Cabin 51, it's hidden in the trees but also offers a stunning view across the Cheshire fields."
  • Philip Fentem

    Forest Ranger

Philip is our Forest Ranger at Delamere Forest and can be found around and about at the basecamp on his ranger activities or undertaking ecological surveys and habitat management work. His favourite place in the local area is Blakemere Moss which has a beautiful lake making it the perfect area for wildlife spotting. He recommends our Golden Oak Treehouse cabin 61 with its great position and forest views from the treehouse.

Where is your favourite place to eat in the local area?

"The Carriers Inn, a pub which overlooks Lake Hatchmere. Also look out for Beavers!"
