Upon arrival/departure: When you arrive, simply park up and head to the Forest Retreat from 4pm (unless you have pre-booked Early check-in from 2pm). Upon departure, simply head to the Forest Retreat from 10am (unless you have pre-booked Late check-out from 12pm) and hand in your keys or drop them off in the outside box.
Access and terrain: At Thorpe Forest, the terrain is flat and level. Our wheelchair-adapted Silver Birch cabin is within close proximetry to the Forest Retreat for easy access and is situated on level terrain with a ramp to access the cabin.
Parking: Each cabin at Thorpe Forest has 2 allocated parking spaces. Additional cars can be registered with the team and parked free of charge at the Forest Retreat just a short walk from your cabin. Parking ranges from directly outside your cabin, to a short/longer stroll along a pathway.
During your stay
Shopping and food options: The Forest Retreat at Thorpe Forest has a small shop containing food and shopping essentials for your convenience, plus breakfast, lunch, and dinner options to be enjoyed in the Forest Retreat or ordered for delivery to your cabin.
Opening hours: 9am – 8pm
Local amentities: The closest supermarkets to Thorpe Forest is Sainsburys (7.4 miles) and Tesco Superstore (4.8 miles). You can arrange a supermarket delivery during your stay, but we ask that you meet the driver on their arrival to accept your delivery.
Nearby train stations: The closest train station to Thorpe Forest is Thetford (6 miles). Please note, our locations require a journey by car, taxi, bus etc.

Change the date of your break unlimited times up to six weeks before your intended stay, and if things change last-minute, you can move your break once up to 8 days before your stay.
