Luxury cabin accommodation in the forest

Brand new for Forest Holidays in 2014, Thorpe Forest opened in May 2014 and lies in woodland on the banks of the River Thet, close to where the Norfolk and Suffolk borders meet. Here you can escape to a luxury cabin and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a leafy setting with riverside walks. Choose to stay within the forest, or in a delightful open glade. The forest itself is a delicate patchwork of pines, heathland and broadleaf trees, and home to a rich variety of British wildlife, including deer, squirrels, pheasants, woodlarks and nightjars. The local area offers an array of attractions, from the mystical beauty of the Norfolk Broads to the medieval charms of Bury St. Edmunds. Create your perfect holiday in this stunning location.

In a riverside forest setting

Furnished to exceptional levels of comfort, your Thorpe Forest cabin will delight you. Why not pay a little extra and choose your specific cabin?  Choose between our delightfully open woodland glade, or stay within the forest where your cabin blends harmoniously with the woodland surroundings.  You'll find a cabin to suit you, from the Golden Oak Hideaway, a secluded cabin made for romance, to the exciting Golden Oak Treehouse with its quirky design details and room for up to 10 guests.

Our Thorpe Forest cabins are designed to be as environmental friendly as possible. Underfloor heating is provided by air source heat pumps and wood pellet boilers which significantly reduce our carbon footprint.  This is just one of the many ecologically friendly innovations we have employed at Thorpe Forest.
