Firstly, we’re proud to have become part of WiTHL’s growing community of businesses committed to creating more diverse and inclusive workplaces. As part of the ongoing development of our diversity and inclusion strategy, we’ve also signed WiHTL’s The Diversity in HTL Charter and pledged to follow their 10 point action plan. And finally, we’re celebrating the achievements of women across the business by getting involved with the International Women’s Day #ChooseToChallenge campaign. Make sure to look out for posts across our social channels and share your support with our team.

WiHTL’s mission is to make a positive difference to 5 million women and people from ethnic minorities across Hospitality, Travel and Leisure globally by 2025. This mission resonates deeply with all at Forest Holidays and very much feels like a natural next step for us as a brand. Signing The Diversity in HTL Charter couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. As part of our Leadership Academy, we’ve been working with future leaders across the business to strengthen and develop our diversity and inclusion strategy. Our CEO Bruce McKendrick says "We see signing the charter as a huge vote of support towards the great work of our future leaders. It’s also an exciting opportunity to set new goals, encourage career progression and review current policies in an action-driven way".

Shining a spotlight on women at Forest Holidays

It wouldn’t be International Women’s Day if we didn’t highlight the creativity, dedication and passion of all the women who help make Forest Holidays the best it can be. Across our social media channels we’ll be highlighting the amazing women working in every department across Forest Holidays, from Ecology and Planning to Finance, Operations and more.

Join us as we #ChooseToChallenge by using our voice to call out inequality, seeking out and celebrating womens’ achievements and helping to create an inclusive world. Find out more about the incredible work that WiHTL does, and follow along with the International Women’s Day #ChooseToChallenge campaign.
