We’ve all toasted a happy occasion with a flute of Champagne, or raised a glass of Prosecco in celebration; the concept of these all-encompassing names for sparkling wines has become common knowledge.

Yet, when we raise a glass of delicious British sparkling wine, what do we call it? This is something Camel Valley winemaker and Chairman of the UK Vineyard Association, Sam Lindo, is hoping to answer.

Following a New York bar coining the phrase ‘British Fizz’ to represent British sparkling wines on his menu, Sam is hoping to seek official international recognition for the term, something we here at Forest Holidays are in full support of.

At our Deerpark location we stock delicious sparkling British wines from nearby vineyard Camel Valley, such as Pinot Noir Brut. We believe its important support our local communities and British produce, as well as providing our guests with a unique and memorable holiday experience.

Enjoy Camel Valley's 'Cornwall Brut', a fresh and fruity sparkling, paired with two bars of wild Gorse Flower milk chocolate. The pack is also available with the Camel Valley Pinot Noir Rose Brut; a lovely floral, strawberry aroma.
