At Deerpark, the cabins are clustered around a
millpond and blend seamlessly with the lie of the land. Arranged in
steps, each gives you commanding views of the surrounding woods and
its inhabitants.
Deerpark is a unique mix of both forest and
aquatic environments and gives you the chance to enjoy the wildfowl
on the millpond and the wildlife in the trees. You could probably
spend your whole holiday in the forest, but if you fancy a change
of scenery, Cornwall has it all. From smugglers’ coves battered by
Atlantic waves to picture book fishing villages and beaches. You
can do just about anything from paddling to kite surfing and rock
pooling
What you can do
There’s one really crucial thing to do here at
Deerpark – relax.
It’s the perfect environment to unwind
surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. And in the evening,
take it easy in the comfort of your cabin and let the stresses and
strains of everyday life become a distant memory. There are miles
of trails which range from sedate to strenuous. These are perfect
for walkers of all abilities or, if you’ve got more energy to burn,
a wonderful challenge for off-road cycling. Of course, our Rangers
are also available for organised activities.
A word of warning
Many of the cabins at Deerpark have steep steps. If this is a
problem for you, please let us know and we’ll try to offer
you accommodation without steps.
