Everyone deserves a holiday and time away to connect. Even more so when they are facing uncertainties in life. We want to enable families to make memories on holiday that will last a lifetime.

Forest Holidays are proud to be working with Make-A-Wish in 2023 to give six holidays to six wonderful families coping with some of the toughest challenges life can bring. We want to be able to help give time away to families and provide a little bit of light amongst darkness.

“We want to grant six magical wishes to six children and their families through Make-A-Wish. Forest Holidays isn’t just a holiday, but a magical and unique experience in the forest. We hope it will provide an escape for children with critical illnesses, bring joy to families when they need it most - and create meaningful memories.” Charlotte Thorogood, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Forest Holidays.

Research conducted by Family Holiday Charity* shows that, more than 90% of people get on better, spend more time together and are worrying less since they come home from a break. Family holidays build confidence and happy memories. They offer space and a break from the things that make life tough for families.

Liz Sheils – Community Fundraising Lead, Make-A-Wish UK commented on the partnership:

“We are delighted to announce that we will be working in partnership with Forest Holidays to offer magical UK holidays for our Wish children! Through the generous support and gift in kind donations given to us by Forest Holidays, we can now offer more children living with critical conditions a chance to experience a magical holiday with their families, providing much needed quality time spent making wonderful memories. A huge thank you to all at Forest Holidays for helping us to make these magical wishes happen for our Wish Families!”
